Padres owner John Moores and his wife Becky Moores have reached a divorce settlement, according to a published report.
In February 2008, Becky Moores filed for divorce after more than 44 years of marriage. The trial was to begin March 15, according to the Union Tribune.
Moores was forced to sell 49 percent of the Padres as part of the pending divorce, NBC San Diego reported in October 2008.
Becky Moores attorneys asked to take a deposition of a former local gynecologist that was described in court documents as a woman Moores had had an affair with during the marriage, the paper reported Tuesday.
