The embarrassment that is Aztecs football isn't changing for awhile, or at least the head coach is keeping his job for now.
Chuck Long will stay on as head coach at San Diego State University at least through next season according to Athletic Director Jeff Schemmel.
The Aztecs set a record of futility with their 70-7 loss at New Mexico on Saturday.
Long is 8-23 in three years as head coach. Schemmel giving him a vote of confidence because of all the injuries this season.
