Lakers' Ariza uncertain for road trip

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Lakers forward Trevor Ariza was still suffering from concussion-like symptoms on Wednesday after leaving Tuesday's 117-110 double-overtime loss to Charlotte with the injury.

Ariza, who departed from Tuesday's contest with 4:52 left in the second quarter and did not return, met with team doctors on Wednesday and will be re- evaluated on Thursday to determine his status for the team's upcoming six-game road trip. The Lakers kick off the trek on Friday in Minnesota.

In a little over 24 minutes per game this season, the fifth-year pro out of UCLA is boasting career-high averages in points (9.0), rebounds (4.8) assists (2.0) and steals (1.7) through 44 games.

Over four-plus seasons with the Knicks, Magic and Lakers, Ariza is averaging 6.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 273 games (33 starts).
