LT Back in Town, Briefly

LaDanian Tomlinson was back in town on Thursday. He has been taking part in Jets team workouts in Orange County.

It’s still tough to think of L.T. wearing green and not Chargers blue.

But how about -- orange?

L.T. was at the construction site of the new PPH Hospital in Escondido, dressed in an orange safety vest.

The new "hospital of the future" is scheduled to be completed next April.

L.T. addressed the construction workers and asked them to finish strong. Then he talked with the media about his efforts along with the help of PPH to increase awareness about childhood obesity and diabetes.

He also took time to throw a few footballs off the roof.

Life is good for L.T. He said he's accepted his role as a third down back and looks forward to being back with the Jets and hosting the Chargers on Oct. 23.

More importantly he's a daddy. His son Daylen is ten months old and he and his wife are expecting a second child.

Last year, after signing with the Jets, he was in a bit of a war of words with the Chargers.

This time around, he seems more at peace with it all, simple saying it was great being back in San Diego.
