Jimmy Jones has been named pitching coach of the club's Rookie-level affiliate in Peoria, Arizona, Vice President of Scouting and Player Development Grady Fuson announced.
The 44-year-old was originally drafted by San Diego in the first round of the 1982 June Draft out of Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, Texas.
