Australian golfer Jason Day will not play in the Pro-Am Wednesday at Torrey Pines due to flu-like symptoms, officials with the Farmers Insurance Open said.
The 28-year-old defending champion has not pulled out of the pro tourney, tournament spokesperson Rick Schloss said told NBC 7.
Day ranks as one of the top three golfers in the world with five wins on the PGA Tour in 2015.
