How U.S. Soccer Fans Are Helping U.S. Military Members

The American Outlaws are doing something special for our troops

For Club and Country. That’s what every soccer player who gets to wear the U.S. shield plays for. You play for the club you represent and the country you call home. On October 10 the U.S. Men’s National Team faces off against Mexico in Pasadena, California for the right to play in the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia.

In the past Team Mexico fans have flooded matches in the Southern California area outnumbering U.S. fans 20-1. The American Outlaws want to change that while honoring the troops, veterans and families of fallen soldiers.

James Bathgate stopped NBC 7 Sports Wrap to talk about the Tix For Troops campaign that’s raising money to buy tickets through the Veteran Tickets Foundation to send our nations heroes to cheer on Team USA.
