Baseball's all-time leading home run hitter Barry Bonds was spared jail time

Baseball's all-time leading home run hitter Barry Bonds was spared jail time and sentenced Friday to probation and house arrest for obstruction of justice.

The slugger, who was convicted in April of obstructing a grand jury's sports doping investigation with an evasive answer, will serve two years of probation, 30 days of house arrest and 250 hours of community service.
