Former Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis has re-emerged into the world of diving, this time as a coach.
Louganis all but disappeared from the sport after his 1988 gold medal, but now he's hanging out at a pool in Fullerton, working with the small diving program, SoCal Divers. He's serving as a mentor for Team USA diving and helping to train future Olympians.
Louganis is the only athlete to win gold medals in springboard and platform diving in back-to-back Olympic competitions.
Louganis said he has stayed away from the sport since 1988 because he "never felt welcome," until now.
