Giants Wild Win

For the first five innings, it was just another "ho-hum" Giants game with Tim Lincecum on the mound.  The two time Cy Young award winner was cruising along on a night that included 13 strikeouts.

Then things got a little crazy.  Leading 3-0, Lincecum gave up a three run home run to Marlins star Hanley Ramirez.  The game remained tied at three until Juan Uribe came through in the 8th inning with a two run double.  Order was restored, and Lincecum was in line for another victory.

However, Marlins slugger Dan Uggla looked to be the game's hero when he hit a three run homer off Sergio Romo with two outs in the 8th inning.  Suddenly, Florida led 6-5.

The see saw battle took another turn when Aaron Rowand's home run tied the game with two outs in the 9th inning.  The Giants finally delivered the knock out punch in the 12th inning, scoring three runs.  The highlight was Aubrey Huff's two run single.

When the smoke cleared, the Giants pulled out a 9-6 win.

Barry Zito will look to keep his strong start to the season going Wednesday night when he pitches in game two of the three game series.
