Chula Vista native David Garza has had a busy summer. He graduated from college, played in the Rio Paralympics with the U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team, visited the White House, and took the first step towards his dream career with the FBI.
Itβs hard to believe that just four years ago he was left in coma, unsure if heβd ever walk again after a horrific car accident.
Not only is Garza walking, heβs thriving.
Garza stopped by NBC 7 SportsWrap to talk about the year heβs had and his hopes for the future.
If you or someone you know wants to join David on the U.S. Paralympic Soccer team and have Cerebral Palsy, suffered a stroke or traumatic brain injury, email Coach Stuart Sharp at SSharp@USSoccer.org for more information.
