Chargers' Tomlinson, Gates active for Colts game

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers have two of their most potent offensive weapons active for Saturday's wild card playoff tilt with Indianapolis, as running back LaDainian Tomlinson and tight end Antonio Gates had been listed as questionable leading up to the game.

Tomlinson is dealing with a groin strain after battling through a toe injury all season, while Gates has an ankle injury. Neither were able to participate in practice this week.

It was widely rumored earlier Saturday that Tomlinson's injury was more severe than originally thought but both the team and Tomlinson refused to comment on the matter.

In addition, linebacker Brandon Siler and wide receiver Malcolm Floyd are inactive for the game.
