Who is in charge if Norm is away? Rob Chudzinski, assistant head coach for the San Diego Chargers. Chudzinski, a former tight end who played with the University of Miami from 1986 - 1990, is known to his friends as Chud.
He spent 10 seasons coaching at the University of Miami after he graduated. Before landing with the Chargers in 2009, his previous coaching stints included the Cleveland Browns and the Chargers in 2005 -2006.
Over the course of his coaching career his star pupils include, Antonio Gates, Kellen Winslow II, and Jeremy Shockey.
