Chargers Fans: New Season Starts Now

It's been a couple of months since the Bolts heartbreaking season-ender in Pittsburgh; now the Chargers are turning the page.

The Bolts started their off-season conditioning program at Chargers Park in Murphy Canyon on Monday.

"It's good to get everybody together," quarterback Philip Rivers said.

The voluntary workouts go through May, when coaching sessions -- or OTAs (offseason training activities -- begin.

"This is where you build team chemistry," Rivers added. "This program works. Our record in December is a good indication. We're stronger later in the season from what we do in March, April and May."

For NFL players, there isn't much time off. For the team, most attention now is focused on the draft that comes up the end of April.
