Chargers still have some believers

ESPN’s NFL Experts: Eight of the 12 experts picked the Bengals to top the Bolts, including ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter.

NBC’s ProFootball Talk: Michael David Smith picked the Bengals 24-14. Mike Florio also took Cincy, 27-17.

Yahoo! Sports: Three for three said Cincinnati would take the game.

NFL Network’s ‘Around The League’: These four experts were split down the middle, two for the rolling Bengals and two for the home team Chargers.

Amanda’s Take: The Chargers are coming in beat up, emotionally and physically. On the other hand, the Bengals are coming in on a roll that no one seems able to stop. The Chargers know, of all the ‘must-win’ games, this is the one they cannot lose if they want to keep their playoff hopes “breathing,” as quarterback Philip Rivers said. It’s that never say die mentality that I’ll base my pick off.

Amanda’s Pick: Chargers 20 Bengals 17.
