Broncos Beef Up

Broncos General Manager John Elway likes to make a splash in free agency. Two years ago he lured  Peyton Manning to Denver.

On Wednesday he signed pass rusher DeMarcus Ware. He got a sweet deal, 3-years, $30 million with two-thirds of it guaranteed. Ware is a seven-time Pro Bowler with 117 career sacks. He's going into his 9th year and will be 32 in July. Ware figures to fit in nicely with the Broncos, who are intent on improving their defense.

Wednesday, the first day of free agency,  Elway and the Broncos gave cornerback Aqib Talib a six year $57 million deal, with $26 million guaranteed. The Pro Bowler was in Denver today to sign the contract.

So in two days, they've dished out 46 million in guaranteed dollars to two front line players.
