San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills due to a nagging ankle sprain.
Chambers was injured in a 17-10 setback to the Miami Dolphins in Week 5 and missed the Chargers' convincing 30-10 thrashing of the New England Patriots this past week. The veteran wideout has now missed six consecutive scheduled practice sessions and two straight games.
Over five contests this season, the 30-year-old has 11 catches for 226 yards and five touchdowns.
Linebacker Jyles Tucker, who missed the Patriots game with a hamstring injury, is also inactive for the second consecutive week.
