Aztecs Lassoed in Wyoming

SDSU Women's Basketball Team Suffers Road Loss

The Aztecs womens' basketball team lost 64-61 in Wyoming on Sunday, continuing an interesting, season-long trend.  San Diego State is 5-6 on the road, but 12-0 at home.

Paris Johnson had 15 points, six rebounds and six blocks for the Aztecs, who fall to 8-3 in the Mountain West Conference.  State probably won't be able to catch Utah for the regular season conference championship, but they are still in 2nd place, which is important.  The top two seeds get byes in the first round of the MWC Conference Tournament.  That extra day of rest can be a big help.

The Aztecs get a week off before playing host to New Mexico next Saturday.
