Aztecs Crush Colorado State

Sixth Straight Win Over the Rams.

The Aztecs of San Diego State exude confidence, especially when they play Colorado State.  They beat the Rams for the sixth straight time in the regular season on Saturday night 78-59 in Fort Collins.

Lorenzo Wade had a season-high 25 points to lead the Aztecs, who kept pace with UNLV and Utah on top of the Mountain West conference standings.  Kyle Spain added 15 points, and eight rebounds.

Just when the game was close early in the second half, Wade took over.  He scored eight points, as the Aztecs took a 43-30 lead.  They put the game away with an 11-0 run that made it 70-47. 

The Aztecs have won eight of their last ten, and improved their record to 15-5 overall, 5-2 in the Mountain West.  They have an important game at UNLV on Tuesday night.
