April Ross made her Olympic debut at the 2012 London Games alongside Jen Kessy. The pair lost in the Gold Medal Match against two-time defending Olympic champions Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor. After London, Ross and Kessy split. Ross went on to form a partnership with Kerri Walsh Jennings. The duo won all seven AVP events in the 2014 season with Ross leading the tour in aces and kills per game. Walsh Jennings ended the season early because of a shoulder injury while Ross continued to compete with other players. Ross won the 2015 AVP Championship with Lauren Fendrick -- the first tournament the two played together.
