The Padres head to Dodger Stadium for their final series in L.A. this season. Eric Stults (8-11, 3.72 ERA) faces off against Dodgers rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-5, 3.08 ERA) Friday night.  Stults hasn't thrived on the road going 3-8 with an earned run average of 4.93.  The Padres will look to capitalize on the Dodgers struggles at home where they average only 3.4 runs per game.  Fun Eric Stults fact: he was drafted by the Dodgers in 2002 and made 35 appearances with L.A. from 2006-2009. 

San Diego hopes to have third baseman Chase Headley back in the lineup Friday night after leaving Tuesday's game early and sitting out Wednesday's finale in Arizona due to back stiffness.
