Volunteers Monitor Local Polling Places

What you can do if you find a problem at your polling place.

Voters heading to the polls who are concerned about their vote being counted will have some protection today.

An organization called "Election Protection" will send volunteers including attorneys, paralegals and law students to 100 local polling places. They will monitor the voting process and look for any fraud or irregularities.

The non-profit, non-partisan organization is partnering with NBC News to bring polling problems to light.  If you have a problem voting at your polling place today, we want to know about it. Text VOTE and then your comment to 739739.
