Sanders, Clinton Campaign in Mass. Ahead of Super Tuesday

Clinton, Sanders hosting events in Mass. ahead of Super Tuesday

Monday is a busy day for the Democratic presidential candidates, with both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton making stops in New England ahead of Super Tuesday.

Clinton spoke at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Monday morning, followed by a stop in Boston's Downtown Crossing at the Old South Meeting House.

Former President Bill Clinton will also be in Massachusetts, stopping in Worcester to speak for his wife.

Sanders is expected to speak at a rally in Milton, Massachusetts, at 7 p.m. Monday.

At a rally in Oklahoma, the Vermont senator criticized Republican frontrunner Donald Trump for his views on climate change.

Sanders said, "That really shocked me because I thought that if Trump thought climate change was a hoax, he would have thought it was brought to us by the Mexicans or the Muslims not the Chinese."

Sanders will also be hosting a Super Tuesday rally in Vermont Tuesday at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction.

Massachusetts is among a dozen states to hold primaries and caucuses on Super Tuesday.
