Arnold Approval Rating Dives to One in Five

Voters upset over state's direction

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's approval rating is at a record low, according to a new Field Poll.

The poll shows just 22 percent of registered voters approve of the job he is doing.

That matches the rating of former Gov. Gray Davis received in 2003, the year he was recalled.

Schwarzenegger's ratings have been below 30 percent since October.

The poll also found that 79 percent of voters think the state is on the wrong track.
