Ye Olde Fall Fun at the NorCal Renaissance Faire

Casa de Fruta's the place for merry songs, royal sightings, and forsooth-y foodstuffs.

But you should find a motorized vehicle that can whisk you to Casa de Fruta, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 15, for that's when the...

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA RENAISSANCE FAIRE... shall open. It will run for six weekends, with several theme weekends on the roster. Opening weekend will be, well, opening weekend, which has its own festive, get-this-party-going flavor, while Pirate Invasion will come ashore on the following weekend. After that? Look for Heroes & Villains, Oktoberfest, Masquerade, and Halloween. Do you need any outfit for each? Well, if you have one, wear it, if you're up for every weekend. Otherwise, your medievalest get-up, or something costume-y and in the vibe, will be ever so huzzahful.

THE WORLD TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS... will bring the joust-big action, there will be a find-filled marketplace packed with all sorts of splendid wearables and home-good-ables, and ciders and meads'll be in the mugs. Plus? There shall be foodstuffs, too, including meat pies and Toad in a Holes, as well as more contemporary cuisine. Tickets, times, and all the huzzah-ready stuff you need to know? Well... huzzah.
