The news first broke on the show's Twitter feed when a fan wrote, "I didn't realize that @nbcSNL isn't back until May 7th!!! What am I going to do!? Is Tina Fey the season finale!?"

The show responded with, "Nope! We have Timberlake after that!" in a Tweet that has since been removed.

With three Emmy nominations and two wins for his work on the NBC sketch comedy series, Justin has become a "SNL" favorite. His Emmy-winning "D*ck In A Box," as well as "Mother Lover," "The Barry Gibb Talk Show" and the "Give It On Up" sketches have proved to be some of the show's best in recent years.

Justin last hosted on May 9, 2009 and also appeared in this season's premiere, where he appeared in host Amy Poehler's opening monologue.
