Steve Jobs Gets a Graphic Novel

Book dives into Jobs' Buddhist beliefs

Another day, another Steve Jobs related product. Yesterday we had the Steve Jobs action figure, today we have a graphic novel called "The Zen of Steve Jobs."

The book, co-produced by Forbes and JESS3, and authored by Caleb Melby, dives into Jobs' relationship with Zen Buddhist priest Kobun Chino Otogawa.

Some of the 80-page book comes directly from Jobs' quotes, while other parts are pieced together and re-imagined.

The story covers the friendship of the two between 1970 and 2011, but focuses on the period in Jobs' life when he left Apple in 1985.

"Told using stripped down dialogue and bold calligraphic panels, The Zen of Steve Jobs explores how Jobs might have honed his design aesthetic via Eastern religion before choosing to identify only what he needs and leave the rest behind."
