Squaw Valley Serene: Wanderlust 2018

The yoga, mind, body, music, and spirit-filled gathering returns in late July.

CALL IT "THE TOP OF SUMMER," or "high summer," or "that moment when we're nearest the sun," at least in our hearts and minds, and you have a balmy stretch when the days seem to move slower, and contemplative moments go deeper, and the general flow of life spins along with a pleasingly languid, look-inward vibe. It's the ideal moment to go to nature, or at least be adjacent to nature, and to stretch, to meditate, to connect with new/old friends, and to find that flow that can sometimes go missing in our more hectic and non-relaxed periods of the year. And it's within that time that Wanderlust Squaw Valley so readily flowers each year, as it will again in 2018. The yoga extravaganza, which includes a host of other elements beyond the plentiful yoga sessions, has its 2018 dates lined up, and you can take a deep dive in the direction of a ticket now, which isn't early at all, given that we're just a fourth of a year away from...

JULY 19-22: The place is North Lake Tahoe, as the "Squaw Valley" part so accurately conveys, and the happenings are as rich as a feast for the mind and as prismatic as an hour spent in a daydream. On the incredibly full schedule? Hiking, yoga, live music, "breathtaking mountain meditations," soundbaths, SUP yoga on the water, pool parties, a silent disco, edible treks, and seminars on a host of topics from letting go to focusing attention. "Transformation Begins Here" is the call to action on the main site. If this is how you want to journey through the summeriest thick of summertime, around the high peaks and gorgeous vistas of Squaw Valley, begin planning the beginning of your transformation now.
