A 17-Year-Old Special Olympian Asks Taylor Swift to Prom in YouTube Video

'Taylor, I have one question for you: Will you go to prom with the Swaggy Tony?'

Now here's a prom-posal you wouldn't want to shake off.

Anthony "Swaggy Tony" Rodela, a 17-year-old student from San Marino High School, made a YouTube video asking pop star Taylor Swift to be his date to his prom.

"Alright, Taylor, I'm your biggest fan. My favorite songs are 'Wildest Dreams,' 'Bad Blood' and 'Shake It Off.' Boom," Tony said in the video after shooting a basket.

Donning dark sunglasses and a Dodgers baseball cap, Anthony catches a football thrown at him from off-camera and scores a touchdown.

"Taylor, I have one question for you: Will you go to prom with the Swaggy Tony?" he said, casually shrugging.

In the video, "Swaggy Tony" carries himself with the charisma and confidence of a winner.

He's rightfully earned his "swaggy" moniker — Anthony recently won first place for the 100-yard dash at the Special Olympics. He's a member of his high school's student council and an assistant manager of the football team.

This prom will be Anthony's first, his mother said, and he's going either way.

There's been no word back from Taylor, but hopefully she'll be able to make Anthony's "wildest dream" come true.

"I really want to meet you, Swaggy Swift," Anthony said. "We're going to have a good time at the dance."
