Some Starbucks customers who paid using gift cards, apps and mobile payment systems have been hacked, cyber security expert Bob Sullivan told CNBC. The hackers may have been able to charge customers' credit accounts by exploiting the Starbucks app's "auto-reload" feature. Starbucks did not dispute Sullivan's claim, but did say it has safeguards in place to monitor for fraudulent activity.
