Scoop: Kate's “Dancing” Act to be Based on Her Life

Much to the surprise of many “Dancing With the Stars” fans, Kate Gosselin was spared a spot on the chopping block this week. Since her dancing leaves a great deal to be desired, Gosselin is going to have to dig really deep next week in order to stay on the show.

What are her plans to do just that? According to some, Gosselin’s next performance will be a “Jon and Kate” interpretive dance of sorts, with Kate playing herself and her dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, channeling Jon.

April Fools’, right?

Sort of. It’s true that backstage at “DWTS,” Gosselin dropped hints that next week’s dance would be “my story of the past two years” and would be very “dramatic.” However, it is not going to be the story of the failed marriage of Jon and Kate as told through modern dance, as some would have you believe.

According to one source very close to Kate who was at Tuesday night’s “DWTS” taping, the idea of a “Jon & Kate” hook is way overblown.

“(The dance) will have to do with all she went through in some way,” said the source. But will her dancing partner be playing the part of Kate’s ex? “Of course not.”

Is ‘Tomb Raider’ next for Heidi?
Now that taping “The Hills” is no longer taking up so much of Heidi Montag’s time, she is free to pursue the feature-film career she really wants.

She recently filmed a cameo in Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler’s film “Just Go With It,” but now she’s got her sights set on something much more substantial: “Tomb Raider.”

“I want to be blonde tomb raider,” Montag wrote on her Twitter. “I'm better with guns then both Angelina (Jolie) and Megan Fox put together!”

J-Woww not a fan of ‘Jersey Shore
In some ways, this makes “Jersey Shore” cast member Jenny “J-Woww” Farley more likeable: Reportedly, she was upset that “Jersey Shore” was renewed by MTV.

“She doesn’t want to be on the show anymore,” according to an insider who spoke to Us Weekly. “She cried her eyes out when she found out it was picked up again.”

The problem seems to be that she doesn’t get along with her castmates. “She isn’t friends with them,” the source adds. (Another insider counters, “She and Snooki are really close.”)

Whatever beef she has with the show hasn’t gotten in the way of profiting from it: Farley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are co-writing a lifestyle guide for St. Martin’s Press, tentatively titled, “Never Fall in Love at the Jersey Shore.”
