Michelle Tam quit her job as a pharmacist to become a food blogger specializing in the paleo, or caveman, diet at Nom Nom Paleo. Now Tam has a cookbook out also called Nom Nom Paleo: Food for Humans.
Tam works on the blog full-time but also credits her husband for helping out, she told Press: Here. "We work on it all the time, but he's kept his day job," she said. "I work really hard to make the recipes work and Henry's job is to make sure everything is beautiful."
Tam said that they both work hard to be engaging and gain readers' trust. "We really our hearts and souls into this. We're successful because we love what we do," she said.

Tam said that affiliates are linking to products that she likes, and if readers buy the product through the link she gets a percentage."I really try to find things that they can afford and are super useful," she said. "We like the NPR model where you put out all this free content, and once in a while we’ll have an ask."
