A man went out in Anaheim on New Year’s Eve expecting to go on a date with a woman he met online and instead ended up getting assaulted, robbed, and carjacked, according to Anaheim Police.

Police have arrested the woman, 20-year-old Alexis Songbryd, and the two alleged attackers, 20-year-old DeJohn Mitchell and 21-year-old Donnis Grimes. They are being held at the Anaheim Police Department Detention Facility on $1 million bail each, and are scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, arrived to the 800 block of S. Cornwall Drive around 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say that Mitchell and Grimes then assaulted him with a knife and simulated handgun, and forced him to drive them to several ATMs in Anaheim to withdraw money.

The suspects beat the victim severely, breaking his nose and several facial bones, police said. They forced the victim out of his own car, left him on the street, and drove away, according to police.
Police believe the trio has committed this type of crime before, and are asking anyone who may have more information or may have been a victim themselves to report it to the Anaheim Police Department.
