Two Survivors Discovered in Japan Rubble

Amid the chaos in Japan comes some good news: two survivors -- an 80-year-old woman and her 16-year-old grandson -- were found 9 days after the quake and rescued from the rubble in their home. But the developments continue to be grim as far as possible casualties. Japanese police say that as many as 15,000 people may be dead in the Miyagi Prefecture, BBC News reported. Additionally, engineers are still trying to stave off disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant, reporting that two of six reactor units are now under control. Contaminated exported food from Japan has reportedly been found in Taiwan, as Japan's Health Ministry struggles to track vegetables and milk tainted with radiation.
