Romney's Five Sons Drop By “Conan”

The Romney brothers discussed their dad's love of pranks and a Will Ferrell "SNL" sketch.

On Wednesday's edition of "Conan," all five of Mitt Romney's sons—Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben and Craig—dropped by to share some quirky tidbits about their father.

The highlight? The presumptive Republican presidential nominee loves to sing "Taco! Burrito! What's coming out of your Speedo?"—a line from a "Saturday Night Live" sketch starring Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri as the Spartan cheerleaders.

Although the brothers appeared on the TBS talk-show on the eve of their father's much-anticipated address to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) conference in Orlando, politics didn't figure prominently in their chat with Conan. They were much more eager to discuss the former Massachusetts governor's love of pranks.

“I remember a story from when he was in high school ... I guess it was a little after high school,” Tagg Romney said. “His friend was getting married. And he found his way into the hotel room ahead of time, and the groom’s outfit was there. He took some pink nail polish and wrote on the first shoe, ‘H-E’ on the sole, and on the next one, ‘L-P.’ And no one noticed it. It was a Catholic wedding, and when he knelt down to be blessed by the father, the word ‘HELP’ appeared.”
