Six-in-10 Americans say they have either very little interest or no interest in the World Cup, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll. Just 22 percent said they have a “great deal” or “quite a bit” of interest. Among those with interest in the World Cup, 86 percent backed Team USA. The poll was conducted June 23-29 with the tournament well underway.
