The Obamas will rendezvous in Paris this weekend to share family time.
The Obama girls and first lady will fly to France on Friday and join President Barack Obama for a family weekend in Paris and the city is already abuzz with anticipation rivaled only by that generated by the Kennedys' visit decades earlier, according to reports.

It will be the first foreign trip for the Obama since moving into the White House and aides told the New York Times the first couple wants to show Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, different parts of the world and expose the young girls to different cultures.
The Obamas' itinerary is unclear but much speculation has been made of where the family will dine -- and the French press has suggested the first family will eat atop the Eiffel Tower on the second level of the 1,024-foot-tall structure in the Jules Verne restaurant that boasts a menu from chef Alain Ducasse .
It's unclear whether the first couple will meet again with their French counterparts, President Nicolas Sarkozy and uber-glam wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy -- but that hasn't stopped the press there from gushing over a potential fashion face-off between the first ladies.
"Michelle scored big points with the French last week when she wore an Azzedeine Alaia dress," Paris-based author and fashion critic Dana Thomas told The Associated Press. "Mrs. Obama is exactly the kind of American woman the French adore: A woman who never lost her femininity, who's smart and dynamic and fabulous in her own right."
The first lady's press office said she will be in Normandy on Saturday to mark the 65th anniversary of D-Day but the trip will be mostly private.
The president is scheduled to return to the U.S. on Sunday but the Times reports that Michelle and the girls will stay in Paris for a few extra days.
