Kristen Stewart: Hold the 3-D on Next “Twilight” Film

"Twilight" actress dreads having birth scene projected in 3-D

Kristen Stewart doesn’t want to give birth in 3-D.

The 19-year-old starlet told MTV News that giving an “Avatar”-eque sheen to the final installment of the popular “Twilight” trilogy would “be crazy.”

“I don’t know,” she said, laughing about the online campaign to deploy 3-D technology to “Breaking Dawn.”

“Maybe selectively, maybe,” Stewart allowed. “Maybe certain scenes.”

One scene Stewart says shouldn’t be shown in 3-D: when her character Bella gives birth to a vampire-human hybrid daughter named Renesmee.

“You don’t want her to fly in your face,” Stewart told MTV. "I think ‘Breaking Dawn’ should just be a normal movie. But who knows?”

Stewart said she expects to begin filming “Breaking Dawn” in November. In her interview, she also hints she'll be a good soldier, whatever film execs decide.

"Watch, it's going to end up being a 3-D movie, and (I'll have to say,) 'No, it's a great idea!' " Stewart said. "So, it's a great idea."

Until the flick comes out, Stewart fans can get their fix by checking out "The Yellow Handkerchief," which hits theaters as soon as February 26 in some cities.
