Kerry in Iraq: We Won't Let ISIS “Evil” Spread

Secretary of State John Kerry praised Iraq's new leadership after arriving in Baghdad Wednesday to drum up support for the battle against extremists terrorizing the country, NBC News reported. Kerry assured newly-elected Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi that President Barack Obama would outline “exactly what the United States is prepared to do, together with many other countries” to take on ISIS militants. The visit came hours before a key prime-time speech by Obama. Kerry told reporters that the U.S. strategy "won't just be bombs" and the U.S. would not cooperate with Iran militarily against ISIS.
