Japan: Plant Radiation Spike Inaccurate

A previous reading of the amount of radiation in the water to be 10 million times higher than normal was inaccurate, said operators of a crippled Japanese nuclear plant . A power company representative said: "The number is not credible. We are very sorry." Officials acknowledged that there was water contaminated with radiation in four of the Fukushima's reactors, according to The Associated Press. Related to the situation, traces of radioactive iodine from the plant have made their way into a Chinese province, according to a China government agency, CNN reported. The agency maintained that because of their low level, those traces pose no harm to the public.
