Billy Ray Cyrus: “I've Dropped the Divorce”

Billy Ray Cyrus says he's patched things up with his famous daughter Miley and hopes to save his marriage too.

"I've dropped the divorce," the country musician tells the ladies of “The View” on Friday’s episode, according to People mag. “I want to put my family back together.”

The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and his wife, Tish, pulled the plug on their 17-year marriage in October, citing irreconcilable differences.

Soon after announcing the divorce, Cyrus told GQ that Miley’s handlers had shut him out of her life and he was “scared” they were putting his daughter in danger.

He said he blamed the pair's Disney show “Hannah Montana” for “destroying my family.”

But Cyrus now says it wasn't "Hannah Montana" that "ruined my family," according to People. "Fame did."

Cyrus tells “The View” he feels like he’s “got my Miley back” and “things are the best they've ever been."
