NASA Takes Angry Birds to Space

The makers of Angry Birds are going out of this world -- literally -- to promote the next iteration of its popular mobile game.

Angry Birds Space is getting a little help from NASA on its current promotional tour.

Astronaut Don Pettit is featured in a new video that shows him trying to play a real life version of Angry Birds in outer space.

Along with the fun take on the game, Pettit gives an interesting physics lesson for those intelligent enough to understand.

"We’ve got to see all of this in a weightless environment, which is what the Angry Birds Space game is going to be like with gravity fields from planetary bodies," Pettit says in the video.

Angry Birds Space will be available for download on iOS, Android, PC and Mac on March 22.
