Mega Millions Winners Return to Work at Wells Fargo in San Jose

Each winning employee is estimated to take home around $19 million after agreeing to split a lump sum of $320 million before taxes

Employees at a San Jose Wells Fargo branch are celebrating their Mega Millions win in what some say is a rather unusual way.

All 11 winners work for the bank on Branham Lane, where customers poured in Monday to congratulate them. And the winners must love their jobs, because even after they won the $543 million jackpot last month, they said they planned to keep working. Several of the employees were back at work Monday.

Customers said the office definitely has a different vibe.

Each winning employee is estimated to take home around $19 million after agreeing to split a lump sum of $320 million before taxes. NBC Bay Area attempted to talk to the employees on Monday, but they declined to comment.

The winners have been identified as Roland Reyes, Marigold Villaruz, Rita Sinha, Murad Kureshi, Nga Lam, My Nguyen, Solonachchige Dissanayake, Isabel Dominguez, Alejandra Villanueva, Alice Socorro and Joji Ziegele, according to Cal Lottery.

In December 2013, a jackpot Mega Millions ticket worth more than $640 million was sold at Jenny's Gift Shop on Tully Road in East San Jose.
