U.S. & World
At 21 years old, Lexi Thompson has already cemented herself as not only a promising young golfer, but one of the best golfers in the world. A heralded amateur golfer, the Fla. native has eight tournament wins since turning professional. In 2011, Thompson won the Navistar LPGA Classic, setting a new record for the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA Tour. At 19, Thompson earned her maiden major victory at the Kraft Nabisco Championship – now the ANA Inspiration – to become the second-youngest major champion in LPGA history at the time.
