California Man Identified in Deadly Road Rage Shooting in Las Vegas

Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 58-year-old tourist killed in what police called a vehicle-to-vehicle "road rage" shooting on Interstate 15.

The Clark County coroner said Monday that Jeffrey Kay Boyajian of Lake Elsinore, California, was pronounced dead late Aug. 5 at University Medical Center of multiple gunshots to the chest. His death was ruled a homicide.

Las Vegas police released video if a road rage attacker's van in the hopes of finding the person who shot and killed a Lake Elsinore man August 2019.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Boyajian was headed to Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday.

No arrests have been made.

Police said the shooter was in a white van that pulled alongside Boyajian's vehicle not far from the Blue Diamond Road exit, a few miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.

Las Vegas police have circulated video showing the white van on and exiting the freeway.
