The Israeli military said Wednesday that it has renewed strikes against targets in Gaza after rockets were launched into Israel, NBC News reported. The news comes as Palestinian negotiators in Egypt agreed to extend the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas for five more days, a member of the Palestinian delegation told NBC News. Hamas denied claims by Israeli police Wednesday that a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel. A spokesman for Israeli police forces in Jerusalem said the rocket caused no damage or injuries.
