ISIS Seizes Three Iraq Towns

Sunni insurgents strategically captured three towns including the Iraq-Syria border, and killed at least 30 troops in a day-long battle on Saturday. The towns of Qaim, Rawah and Anah are the first territory seized west of Baghdad. Quaim is the specific bordering town of Iraq and Syria while Rawh and Anah appeared to be part of a key dam in the city of Haditha, where its destruction would adversely impact the country's electrical grid and cause major flooding. The Sunni's acquisition will also allow militants to move weapons and heavy equipment to different battlefields with more ease than before.
