Google Adds Ski Resorts to Street View

It's a great week to daydream about some slalom. Or 'boarding. Or sitting by the fire in the lodge, perusing the wine list and wondering how tomorrow's powder will be.

From your desk, you can peek at the Squaw Valley slopes as if you just fell off the lift -- all thanks to Google's new Street View for Ski Resorts and Slopes. There are 13 famous ski resorts featured, thanks to the Street View Snowmobile. Google sent out the snowmobile before the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Ski resorts are added to the existing collections like, Parks of the World and Hawaii Beaches.

Squaw Valley, known for its quality since 1960 when it hosted its own Winter Olympics, is the only California resort included.
