Gingrich Is Exploring Presidential Run in 2012

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is looking to make a return to politics by exploring a Republican run for the presidency in 2012. Gingrich, 67, told Sean Hannity on Fox News that "my expectation is that by the end of this exploratory process that we'll have an announcement and we'll be in the race." He added that the idea of running for president is “very daunting, but it’s also very exciting.” The New York Times reported that Gingrich filed paperwork yesterday as his organization, Newt Exploratory 2012, will report its contributions and donors to the I.R.S.
