Enjoy a New Oasis at Glen Ivy Hot Springs

The new garden oasis debuted in early June 2018.

MANY DESTINATIONS, especially those places that people go to relax, to unwind, to find rejevenation, and to dig down into some peace and quiet, undergo the occasional renovation or addition now and then. It makes sense, too, for if a lot of people enjoy what you do, you'll need to pause now and then and freshen up the place, give it a bit of a spruce, even go for a new look. But Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona hasn't changed its popular tubs nor its muddy-blissful character, so saying it has a new look isn't quite accurate. Observing that it has a new nook, however, as in a new pretty pocket to retreat to, as in a just-opened oasis, is exactly right. And this oasis did indeed make its debut earlier in June, a warm month that fits the verdant, sunshine-laden location perfectly. Glen Oaks calls the oasis both "serene" and "expansive," which tempts, but there's an extra secret to this secret garden: The chance to reserve a Secret Garden Cabana.

TWO TO FOUR GUESTS... can enjoy the cabana, and the soft robes and "access to sun loungers" that come with its rental. Also nice? The cabana crew's car is covered for the day, parking-wise, so don't fret about that fee. As for the price of securing a cabana? High season begins in March and ends in October, with Tuesday through Thursday cabana rental going for $250 while $275 is the rental price for Friday through Monday cabanas. Ready to linger in a hefty dose of sunbeamage near Cold Water Canyon? Glen Ivy Hot Springs receives plenty of that glorious stuff, and that there's an on-property oasis to bask in all of that sunbeamage, a new cabana-nice nook for the historic springs, only further ups the property's whole sunbeam quotient.
